Should You Get a Twitter Account for Online Marketing?

This is big news. In fact, I stopped the press on everything else today to get this featured news to you guy/gals.

As you may already know, many of the times you will hear the term “Social Marketing” being thrown around.

And really, it’s a bit of broad useless term to throw around in itself. Because “being social” is so much more than just having an social account and trying to sell yourself all day to people that don’t know you.

BUT THIS NEWS CHANGES EVERYTHING!

In the below, is an excerpt for the Bloomberg Article  that states the following:

The deal means “more opportunities for Twitter to convert, and possibly monetize, logged-out users,” he said. It will also increase the frequency that people with Twitter accounts check the site, he added.

“For Google, we believe search results will be enhanced by access to real-time tweets and a much broader amount of content,” Anmuth wrote.

(the direct article can be read here http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-02-05/twitter-said-to-reach-deal-for-tweets-in-google-search-results )

Now if you look at the context of those statements, they say alot for whether or not you should get a Twitter account for online marketing because even if “Twitter users are logged out” of Twitter, that doesn’t necessarily mean that you will be logged out of Google. And as I said in my video. most likely the 2 accounts will be strategically tied one way or another down the pipe.

Seems like what you “instantly say” will be searchable to the billions on the web via Google Search.

And as for Google, well, they are just telling you that they are more happy than a pig in slop with getting the “broader content” because now they can continue to solidify their place as King of Search showing real time results, and perhaps even help their slugging along social platform Google+

This is big news my friends, because if leveraged correctly, this can help your business, brand or service substantially in “hyper targeting” your necessary audience.

So do yourself a favor, and go get yourself a Twitter account to help you market your business online and off.
